Description

This is an 18th-century former pair of cottages, now combined into a single house, located on the north side of The Green in Chartridge, near Hyde Heath. The house is constructed of rubble flint with red brick quoins and dressings. It has a hipped roof covered in old tiles, with a central chimney and dentil brick eaves. The front features four two-light casement windows and two doors, all with segmental arches. Two of the first-floor casement windows retain old leaded glazing. Single-storey outbuildings are located on either side of the main house.
