Description
Pond Cottage is a 17th-century building that has been restored. It features a timber-framed structure with sections of colour-washed plaster and brick nogging, mostly also colour-washed, topped with an old tile roof. The cottage is two storeys high and has a small central projecting wing with a weather-boarded gable. On the first floor, there is one 2-light casement window and one 3-light casement window in the projection. The ground floor includes a recessed entrance porch on the left side, which has a board door on the inside wall to the right and a small 2-light casement window in a heavy timber frame. To the right of the projection, there is a board door and one small window. There are modern additions located in the angle between the cottage and the projecting wing, as well as on the right side of the cottage.
