Description
Clints House and railings is a house and railings dating from the early to mid-19th century, built for the Routh family of Gayle Mill. The structure is made of coursed watershot rubble and features a stone slate roof along with wrought-iron railings. It stands two storeys tall and has two first-floor windows. On the left side, there is a six-panel door set within a wooden Roman Doric doorcase that has a broken pediment. The house has 16-pane sash windows, a stack on the verge at the left end, and a ridge stack to the right. In front of the house, there are simple railings topped with urn finials on the standards, which rise to a point in front of the door.
