Description
Bank Cottage is a pair of cottages that have been converted into one house, dating from the mid-18th century. The building is constructed of gritstone rubble and features a graduated stone slate roof. It stands two storeys high and consists of two mirrored plan bays. The two central doorways have large plain lintels and single stone jambs, although the right-hand doorway is blocked. These doorways are covered by a late 20th-century gabled porch, which is not of special interest. The cottage has small two-light flat-faced mullion windows throughout and end stacks.
