Description

Top Farmhouse is a house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared gritstone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with a lower bay on the left side. The corners of the house are marked by quoins. The central entrance consists of a glazed door with an overlight, set within a plain stone surround. There is an end stack on the right and a ridge stack to the left of the door. The lower bay on the left, which is now used as a garage, has a small inserted window. This building is included for its group value.
