Description

The garden wall with summerhouse, dating from around 1807, was built for James Willis. It is constructed of rubble and stands approximately 3 metres high. The wall extends from the north-east corner of the rear wing of Warnford Court and returns at a right angle. In the center of the north-west side, there is an apsidal summerhouse, which features an ashlar plaque above it. The plaque has a frame and quadrant paterae in the corners, but the original inscription is now illegible. To the right of the summerhouse, there are 8 bee-boles arranged in 2 tiers. The right return of the wall includes a board door.
