Description
The kennels, located approximately 3 metres north of the coach-house at Warnford Court, were built in 1807 for James Willis. The structure is made of rubble, and the roof is not visible. It has one and two storeys with five bays. The building features quoins and on the ground floor, from left to right, there are leaved board doors in a segmental-arched coach opening, a round-arched window with radial glazing bars above a 16-pane sash, and a 6-panel door set in a chamfered, quoined, ashlar basket-arched surround, which has an inscription on the lintel reading "J & R W 1807." There is also a board door. On the first floor to the right, there are two triangular pigeoncotes. The building has a coped parapet that slopes down to the left. It is included for its group value.
