Description

This is a boundary stone located approximately 6 metres north of Tomgill Bridge, likely dating from the early 19th century. The stone stands about 750 mm high and features a rounded top. The front of the stone has the inscription "HERE ENDS AYSGARTH ROAD I(?8)33". On the left side, it reads "AS KRIGG", and on the right side, it states "MIDL HAM".
