Description
The former house and cottage, now used as farm buildings, are located approximately 100 metres east of Rash View. The house dates from the late 17th century, while the cottage is from the 18th century. Both buildings are constructed of rubble with stone slate roofs and are two storeys high.
The house features two first-floor windows and has a rear outshut. It has quoins and a stable door to the right. The windows are double-chamfered mullion windows, with a former four-light window now reduced to a two-light window. On the first floor, there is a three-light window without mullions and a single-light window. A chimney is corbelled out from the first floor of the right return, which also has a two-light mullion window on each floor of the right return rear outshut.
To the left is the cottage, which has a board door set in an ashlar surround with interrupted jambs to the right, and a sash window in a partially-blocked ashlar surround to the left. The first floor features a square window opening with an ashlar surround.
