Description

Bradwell Hall is a farmhouse located in Bradwell, consisting of three distinct sections. The eastern block dates from the mid-18th century, the central block from the late 18th century, and the western facade was added around 1830. The building is constructed of brick, with roofs made of slate on the east section, black glazed pantiles on the central section, and corrugated concrete tiles on the west section.

The eastern block is two storeys high and features walls with burnt headers. There is a 20th-century door located to the left of the center, with a late 20th-century casement window to the right and an early 20th-century casement window to the left. Under the eaves, there is a two-light 19th-century casement window. The roof is gabled, and the east gable head exhibits tumbling.

The central block is also two storeys tall, with one window bay on each floor facing south. The lower window is a 20th-century iron casement, while the upper window is a 20th-century sash. This section shares a gable end stack with the eastern block and has a gabled roof. There is a circa 1830 extension at the rear, which has an asbestos catslide roof and 20th-century windows.

The western block features a two-storey, three-bay facade with a gabled porch to the right of center, which has a slate roof and a 20th-century door. The windows are sash types with glazing bars and gauged skewback arches, and the roof is hipped. There are two stacks, one on the west roof slope and another on the north slope. Additionally, there is a single-storey, three-bay extension added in 1982 to the south.
