Description
Itford Farmhouse is a building that likely dates back to the medieval period and was altered and enlarged in the 18th century. The farmhouse has two storeys and features a tiled roof. The west front is faced with roughcast, and there is a gabled projection, which is tile-hung, at the south end. A smaller central gabled projection contains a porch with a round-headed archway, and there is a chimney breast located to the north of this porch. The west side has three windows, and there are some blocked lancet windows present. The south wall is also tile-hung, while the east front is faced with flints. There is another gabled projection at the south end of the east front, with a pentice on the north side of this projection. The north end features a half-hipped gable, along with a small gable in a recess between the two projections, and there are three windows facing east.
