Description

Rock Cottage and Barn Cottage originated as a farmhouse, later divided into two separate dwellings. The core of the building likely dates to the 18th century, although the western section (Rock Cottage) may be a later addition or have been significantly altered at a later date. The building is two storeys high and has five windows. Rock Cottage is constructed of flints with red brick dressings and quoins, while Barn Cottage is faced with red brick and tile-hanging. The roof is tiled. Windows are casement style. A chimney breast built of flint and brick is located on the east wall of Rock Cottage.
