Description

Pilgrim Cottage is a 17th-century house with a 20th-century extension, located in Soberton. The walls are of exposed timber framing with brick infill, some of which is painted. The roof is thatched, featuring eyebrow dormers at the rear and a hipped west side with low eaves. The house is L-shaped, with the original rear section being one storey and an attic, and the front section two storeys high, displaying an irregular arrangement of casement windows. A 20th-century porch, constructed of bricknogged timber framing and with a hipped tile roof, has been added.
