Description

East Ashling House is an L-shaped building dating from the 17th century or earlier, with later 18th-century additions. The west half of the west wing is a timber-framed structure with red brick infilling. The rest of the building is of painted brick, though the east wall is flint and painted. The roof is tiled. The first floor has sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor windows are modern casements. The gable ends of each wing are half-hipped, featuring circular windows.
