Some of the timber framing is exposed, with rubble infilling, but the cottage has mostly been refaced in painted brick. It features a thatched roof, which includes one "eyebrow" and a pentice at the west end and above the easternmost window-bay on the north front. The cottage has two storeys and four windows.
