Description
Locks Cottages, located in Easebourne, is a building that consists of two parts. The northern end, No 100, is dated 1669 and features the initials L T. It is constructed of stone rubble with ashlar quoins and has a gable on the west front, topped with a tiled roof. The building has casement windows with two and three lights, along with a stone doorway that has a dripmould and displays the date and initials above it. This section has three storeys and two windows.
No 102, which was originally Nos 101 and 102, is an 18th to 19th century addition that is lower in elevation. It is made of stone rubble with red brick dressings and quoins, and has a hipped tiled roof. This part has casement windows and is two storeys high with four windows.
