Description
Rose Tree Cottage is a Grade II listed building originally consisting of two cottages. The southern cottage dates back to the 16th century and is now faced with stone rubble. It features a hipped tiled roof, casement windows with stone mullions, and a brick dripmould on one window. At the back, there is a stone chimney breast with tile-hung offsets. The northern cottage is dated 1719 and has a higher elevation. It is constructed of coursed stone with red brick dressings and quoins, also featuring a tiled roof and casement windows. The building has two storeys and three windows overall, with the initials "W M" present on the northern cottage.
