Description
The cottage at the south-east end of the south range of buildings at Bignor Park Farm is believed to date from around 1860, although a building of similar size appears on the Tithe Map from 1843. It is two storeys high and features coursed Malmstone walls with galleting and brick dressings. The roof is pyramidal, covered with slate, and has slightly overhanging eaves, with a brick stack positioned to the right of the center.
The northeast elevation has two bays, each with cambered-headed window openings that contain two-light casement windows. All windows have small panes, except for the left-hand ground floor window. There is a lean-to structure with a modern two-light window above a modern brick porch that leads to a ledged door. The rear wall also exhibits galleting.
