Description

Burton Hill House and Burton Hill Court are a large house dating from the mid-19th century. The house is stuccoed with a slate roof and has casement windows. The west, or entrance, front is L-shaped with five windows and three dormers. A gable at the north end features a large Gothic window. The south front has three windows, three dormers, and two bays with Gothic windows on the ground floor, alongside one smaller bay on the first floor. The east front is half-H-shaped with eight windows. The wings are gabled, with attic windows and bays on the ground floor. The recessed centre has three gabled dormers, a gablet above the central first-floor window, and a large projecting porch.
