Description

Burton Mill is a three-storey forge dating to 1789. Originally an iron forge, it is constructed of coursed malmstone with red brick dressings and quoins. The roof is tiled and hipped. The building has three casement windows and a stone lintel above the doorway, inscribed with the date 1789 and the initials "G.B."
