Description

Highfield House is an early 19th-century building with two storeys and six windows. It is stuccoed with an eaves cornice, and has a hipped slate roof. The windows retain Venetian shutters and their original glazing bars. The three easternmost window bays project outwards. Later additions have been made to the northeast side of the building. The building was previously known as The Hermitage and was located on Arundel Road.
