Description

Grays is an 18th-century house located on the north side of Angel Street in Petworth. The building has two storeys and features six windows. It is constructed of ashlar stone, with the westernmost window-bay recessed and tile-hung. The roof is hipped and tiled, and the glazing bars are intact. There is a later non-central doorway that has a pediment supported by console brackets, and the door itself consists of six fielded panels. Additionally, there is a smaller doorway at the west end, which is framed by a moulded architrave and has a flat hood above it.
