Description

The Old House is a large house dated 1728. It is constructed of ashlar, with galletting. A stone string course and eaves cornice run around the building, and it has a tiled roof. The windows have curved heads, intact keyblocks, and glazing bars. A gabled porch contains a doorway bearing the initials "H." and the date 1728. The south front is distinguished by brick dressings and a doorway with a flat hood supported by brackets. The building is three storeys high with five windows facing the front. Inside, there is a good staircase and panelling.
