Culpepper and April Cottage is a 17th century or earlier building, originally part of a larger property known as Lilybank and Southbank. It is a two-storey cottage with four windows. The ground floor is faced with flints, with red brick dressings, quoins above, and tile hanging. The roof is hipped and tiled. The cottage features casement windows alongside horizontally-sliding sash windows.
