Description

This is a 17th-century house, largely refronted with brick in the 18th century and now painted. It has a tiled roof and a modillion eaves cornice. The original vertical glazing bars remain in the windows. The front doorway has a flat hood supported by brackets, a rectangular fanlight, and a door consisting of six fielded panels. The house is two storeys high with an attic and has three windows. A modern dormer window has been added. Curved ornamental wooden railing is situated to the east of the house. The building is named after a former resident.
