Description

Pelham Cottages, formerly known as Knight's Almshouses, were built in 1869 and are a single-storey structure featuring four windows. The exterior is faced with rough flints, accented by red brick dressings and quoins. The roof is tiled, and the windows are casement style with latticed panes. The end window bays project outwards and are adorned with scalloped bargeboards. In the center, there is a projecting porch with a similar gable that displays the Pelham cartouche. The other gables feature the date and the initials "MC".
