Description
Falmer Primary School and School House, dated 1837 but altered later in the 19th century, features the buckle of the Arms of the Pelham family of Stanmer Park. The building is one storey with an attic and has four windows, along with four gabled dormers. It is finished in stucco with a tiled roof and casement windows. There is a gabled addition at the east end with one window; the ground floor is faced with flints and the upper part is tile-hung. At the west end, there is a similar addition for the schoolmaster's house, which is two storeys high with one window bay, also faced with flints on the ground floor and tile-hung on the first floor, topped with a gable.
