Description

The Verrall tomb, located 5 yards south of All Saints' Church, is a monument dated 1812. It is made of stone and features an elongated octagonal shape with canted corners that project between recessed sides and ends. The tomb has curved inset end panels and flat side panels, which are set between recessed three-quarter columns. It is topped with a moulded cornice and a ridge lid. The tomb is inscribed with the names of many members of the Verrall family, starting from 1812.
