SU 93 SW LURGASHALL TENNYSON'S LANE Blackdown 3/4A The Lodge, Aldworth House - - II The former stables and coach-house of Aldworth House with cottage over, to the north of the house. Built in 1869 for Lord Tennyson. Architect Sir James Knowles. L-shaped building. Coursed stone. Slate roof. Pointed sash windows with vertical glazing bars. The south west wing has a two coach-houses on ground floor and gable over. The north wing has two smaller gables facing west and two doorways with pointed fanlights. Two small gables in south front. Two storeys. Three windows.
