Description
The Lodge at Aldworth House is a former stable and coach-house built in 1869 for Lord Tennyson, designed by architect Sir James Knowles. This L-shaped building features coursed stone construction and a slate roof. It has pointed sash windows with vertical glazing bars. The southwest wing contains two coach-houses on the ground floor with a gable above. The north wing has two smaller gables facing west and two doorways with pointed fanlights. Additionally, there are two small gables on the south front. The building is two storeys high and has three windows.
