Description
Upper Roundhurst Farmhouse is a notable house dating from the late 17th century, which is quite unusual for Sussex as it resembles more of a Cotswold style. The main front faces east and is constructed of ashlar, while the north and west sides are made of stone rubble. It features a stone stringcourse and a coved cornice. The house has tall casement windows set in shouldered moulded architraves, complete with wooden mullions and transoms. The stone doorway also has a shouldered moulded architrave, along with a pulvinated frieze and a moulded cornice. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has five windows.
