Description

Chase Farmhouse is a house dating to the late 15th or early 16th century. The ground floor is constructed of coursed stone with red brick dressings and quoins, while the upper part is tile-hung. It has a steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof. The windows are casement windows. The house is two storeys high and has three windows. The interior includes a smoke bay and a chimney bearing a dated initial. An original wooden mullioned window, without glazing, and its original shutter are located in a loft.
