Description

This is a 17th-century timber-framed house located on The Green in Fernhurst. The front of the building was refaced in the early 18th century, though some timber framing remains visible at the rear. The construction is of coursed stone, with a stone stringcourse and a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The roof is tiled and hipped, with intact glazing bars in the windows. A doorway, likely of modern Georgian style, features a pediment-shaped hood, a semi-circular fanlight, and a six-panel door. The house is two storeys high with an attic. It has five windows and two hipped dormers.
