Description
Maid Marion Food Store is a house that has been converted into a shop, featuring an L-shaped block. The north wing, located behind the shop, is a timber-framed building from the 17th century or earlier, with plaster infilling, although it has been largely refaced with stone rubble and tile-hanging. The building has a tiled roof and casement windows. The shop area in front is modern. The south-west wing, known as Trowell, was added at the angle of this building and Trowell Cottage to the south, likely in the 19th century. The building has two storeys and three windows. It is included for its group value.
