Description

The Almshouses are a building from 1840, consisting of two cottages. The north gable end features a stone panel that reads 'Built and endowed 1840'. The structure is made of ashlar stone and has a slate roof. Both the north and south gable ends have scalloped bargeboards. The cottages have sash windows with intact glazing bars and dripmoulds above. There are two small square projecting stone porches, and the building is single-storey with three windows.
