Description
Crowhamhurst is an L-shaped house located on Lower Street in Fittleworth. The south wing dates from the 17th century or earlier and has been refaced on its west front with alternating red brick and grey headers. It features a hipped tiled roof and casement windows. The east wing is an early 19th-century addition, which is stuccoed with a slate roof and retains sash windows with intact glazing bars. The ground floor has two bays and a doorway adorned with pilasters, a pediment, and a six-panel door. The building stands two storeys high and has three windows.
