Description

The Grange, also known on the map as Lower Fittleworth House, is a building from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It has two storeys and a semi-basement, featuring five windows. The exterior is made of ashlar with a red brick stringcourse and a wooden eaves cornice, topped by a tiled roof. The first floor has casement windows divided into four sections, with wooden mullions and transoms, while the ground floor has sash windows with intact glazing bars. The entrance includes a doorway with a large shell hood supported by brackets and a door with six fielded panels. The gable ends are adorned with stone kneelers and coping.
