Description

The Ice House adjacent to the entrance of Folkington Place is an ice house dating from the 18th century or early 19th century, housed within a mid-19th century protective structure. It is a rectangular, single-storey building made of flint with red brick dressings and a slate roof featuring wooden bargeboards on the east side. This side also includes a narrow round-headed arched doorway with tiled voussoirs. Inside, the earlier stone domed ice house appears to be intact.
