Description

The Chestnuts, also known as White Lodge, is an early 19th-century pair of houses located on the east side of North End in Ditchling. The buildings rise three storeys and feature two windows on one house and one window-space on the other. They are finished in stucco and topped with a hipped slate roof. The glazing bars are intact. The ground floor has two bays, which are covered by a continuous tiled hood that extends over the doorways.
