Description
The former stables of Lavington Park, now part of Seaford College, are located to the west of the house. This building dates from the 18th century and was altered by Detmar Blow for Lord Woolavington in 1903. It features a complete courtyard and is faced with flints, complemented by red brick dressings and quoins. The roof is tiled. The north and south sides have taller, elaborate stone archways, likely added in 1903, which include rusticated columns and a curved pediment adorned with swags and a cartouche. Each side of the archway has three windows that form a joint window for the ground and first floors. Additionally, there is a bell-turret in the center of the roof of the north wing, which has a clock face.
