Description

Newhouse Farmhouse is an 18th-century building located on Newhouse Lane in East Dean. The farmhouse features a central portion that is two storeys high and has five windows, flanked by single-storey wings. The structure is constructed of coursed flints with red brick dressings, including quoins, a string course, and an eaves cornice. It has a tiled roof and retains its original glazing bars. A later addition is a red brick gabled porch. Each wing contains one Venetian window. The farmhouse is also marked on the map as Stein Farm.
