Description

Ecclesden Manor, built by John Forster in 1634, is a two-storey building with an attic. It features seven windows and is faced with flints and some red brick. The roof is made of Horsham slabs, although some sections have been replaced with tiles. The manor has casement windows with stone mullions and a central gable that includes kneelers and ball finials, which are elevated on iron uprights that rest on brick and stone piers. The entrance is a round-headed doorway adorned with pilasters and a keystone above. There are modern additions to the north of the building.
