Description

Originally a single house and a malthouse, now converted into two dwellings. Malt Barn Cottage, at the south end, was the malthouse itself, likely dating from the 17th century. It is built of red brick with a stringcourse, and has a tiled roof and casement windows. The Malt House, at the north end, was originally and remains a dwelling, dating from the early 19th century. This part of the building is stuccoed with a tiled roof and sash windows, some retaining original glazing bars. The entire structure is two storeys high with six windows.
