Description
The Jacobean Hall, part of the Spread Eagle Hotel, was originally used as outbuildings, barns, or stables for the hotel and later served as the hotel garage. It is now a meeting room with hotel accommodation above, located to the southwest of the main hotel building. The northern end of the structure is a timber-framed building from the 17th century or earlier, featuring painted brick infilling, while the rest of the building dates from the 18th century. The exterior is made of stone, which is now painted, and it has a tiled roof. The building has modern sash windows with glazing bars, is two storeys high with an attic, and includes eight windows and three hipped dormers.
