Description
Kitchen Court, Lancaster Cottage, and The Nook is a house that has been subdivided. It was originally part of the same building as Lancaster House, Golden Square, and may have once been called York House. The property is accessed via an alley from High Street and features an 18th-century frontage that is two storeys tall with one window, constructed in red brick. The main structure is a timber-framed building from the 17th century or earlier, with red brick infilling, although it has been partly refaced with tile-hanging. The roof is tiled, and there are casement windows. The building is two storeys high and has three windows. The south front is made of sandstone and dates from the 18th century.
