The Little Cottage is a small house built in the early 19th century, resembling a lodge. It has a stucco exterior and a slate roof that extends down to create a veranda on the ground floor, which features two small box-like projections. The building has casement windows and consists of one storey with an attic. There are two windows and two gabled dormers.
