Description

The Cottage is an 18th-century building originally attached to a smithy, and later known as the Waterloo Inn. It is constructed of clunch with red brick dressings, quoins, and a stringcourse. The roof is slate-covered. The building has casement windows on the first floor, one of which is blocked and features wooden mullions. Below, there are sash windows with glazing bars. A doorway is topped with a flat hood supported by brackets. The Cottage is two storeys high and has three windows.
