Description

Findon Farmhouse is an early 19th century house constructed in two phases. It is two storeys high and has five windows in its original section. The exterior is roughcast, with a stringcourse and an eaves cornice. The roof is slate-covered, and the windows are sash windows with 20 panes each, featuring glazing bars. A bull’s eye window is positioned above the doorway. The doorway itself has fluted pilasters, a pediment, a semi-circular fanlight, and a six-panelled door with moulded detail. A later, but still early to mid-19th century, addition to the north section of the house is of a higher elevation and features two windows.
