Description
Ryder’s Wells is an early 19th-century house, likely designed by the Brighton architect Amon Henry Wilds. It comprises two parallel ranges, with two storeys and an attic. The south front is faced with cement and features a curved bay on all floors. The ground floor is rusticated, with a string course, cornice, and parapet featuring panels of imitation balustrading. The slate roof is topped by this parapet. Windows have Venetian shutters and intact glazing bars. The north wall is constructed of red brick. A later porch has been added.
