Description

This is an early 19th-century cottage, now divided into two dwellings. It is constructed of flint with red brick dressings and quoins, and has an old tiled roof with brick chimneystacks at each end. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows. The windows are 20th-century casements with leaded lights in their original surrounds, with a cambered shape on the ground floor. Pear Tree Cottage features a cambered door frame with a plank door that is original to the building. Laburnum Cottage has a 20th-century porch. A lean-to extension was added to the left-hand side in the 20th century. Attached to the east is a 19th-century flint garden wall.
