Description
The Parish Church of St Peter is an isolated Church of England building located between a loop of the River Ouse and a former railway. The church consists of a chancel, nave, south porch, and west tower. The chancel (excluding the east end) and nave (excluding the west end) date back to the early 12th century. The east end of the chancel, the west end of the nave, and the tower were constructed in the 14th century, while the south porch was added in the 15th century.
